How to make full strength scrumpy cider .. Gallon / 5 lt demijohn .. 4lts apple juice .. using 12oz sugar will result in an 8% to 9% scrumpy .. 5g pack of yeast (half of the pack is sufficient) .. 1 teaspoon of yeast nutrient (optional) .. airlock .. placed in a warm place this will ferment out in approx 1 week ready to be bottled .. for a still cider add half a teaspoon of stabilizer to the demijohn and shake the demijohn to mix in then bottle and cap .. for a fizzy cider add a quarter teaspoon of sugar to each bottle then fill with scrumpy then cap .. in a few days the cider will clear
