This page says what we keep about you when you message us, visit the bar, leave feedback or apply for a job, and what we do with it. "We" are Riel Brewing and Noisy Chili Tap House, #39 Street 478, Toul Tom Poung, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. Questions and requests: info@rielbrewing.com.

Messages to our Facebook and Instagram pages

When you message Noisy Chili or Riel Brewing on Facebook Messenger or Instagram, we receive your message, any photos or files you send with it, and the number Facebook gives you for our page. Where Facebook allows it, we also receive your first and last name.

We keep these in our own database, on our own server, and show them to our staff in a private Telegram group so they can answer you; their answer comes back to you in Messenger. To help them answer quickly, the recent messages of the conversation are sent to Google's Gemini, which drafts suggested replies. A member of staff reads and chooses every reply. Nothing is sent to you automatically.

We use your messages only to answer you and to run the bar: bookings, events, orders and job applications. We don't sell them, use them for advertising or pass them to anyone else.

Feedback

The feedback cards at the bar ask for a rating and your comments, and, only if you want a reply, a way to contact you. Staff may also note feedback you give them in person. We use it to make the bar better, and your contact only to reply to you.

At the bar

If you run a tab, collect points or ask us to remember you, our till keeps your name and, if you give them, your phone number and email, with what you bought and your points. We send you offers only if you've told us you want them. Card and KHQR payments are handled by the bank: we see the amount and the bank's reference, never your card number.

Job applications

A CV you send to staff@rielbrewing.com is read by the owner for the job you applied for. We keep it until the job is filled, then delete it, unless you ask us to keep it for future openings.

This website

This website has no analytics, advertising trackers or cookies for visitors. Staff who sign in to update the menu get a sign-in cookie. Our web server keeps the usual access logs (address, page and time) for a few weeks, for security.

Who else handles it

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) and Telegram carry and keep the messages; Google's Gemini drafts suggested replies; our bank handles payments. Each handles what passes through it under its own privacy policy.

Seeing, correcting or deleting your data

Write to info@rielbrewing.com, or say so in a message to our page, and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, within 30 days. Deleting a conversation in Messenger removes it from your side only, so ask us to delete our copy too.

Changes

If any of this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top.
